除了崇祯最后的亡地典故外,景山在北京的景点中,几乎是个被忽略的地方.和旁边的故宫,北海比起来,更是如此.

     元代，这里有座小土丘，名叫青山，属于元大内后苑的范围。明代在北京修建皇宫时，曾在这里堆过煤，所以又称煤山。清顺治十二年(1655)，改名为景山。

   从北海南门向东,不到1公里,就可以走到景山南门-万岁门.路边修复的牌楼,在护城河,角楼的衬托下,愈发闪亮.

    景山的山脊上有五座峰，每座峰上各有一座小亭， 从东向西分别是周赏亭、观妙亭、万春亭、辑芳亭、富揽亭。

寿皇宫,现在没有开放.以前是停放皇帝灵柩的地方.大门前,一对元代的石狮,堪称精品.

注意狮子的肌肉感,与后代狮子的写意风格迥然不同
