岭南古建筑瑰宝佛山祖庙探古寻幽（广东沿海游14）  图文：刘国雄

佛山祖庙与肇庆悦城龙母庙、广州陈家祠合称为岭南古建筑三大瑰宝，是国家级重点文物保护单位。广州陈家祠老早以前就去过了，所以这次去广东沿海自驾游，很想去佛山和肇庆。只是因为年初五在湛江去阳江海陵岛塞了大半天，浪费的时间太多，把游玩佛山延后到初六，就没时间路过肇庆玩了。

到佛山肯定要去祖庙和南风古灶玩，年初六早上走进佛山祖庙，印象中好多年以前来过这里的，但是没有什么记忆点。佛山祖庙位于佛山市禅城区，北宋元丰年间（1078—1085年）始建，明洪武五年（1372年）重修，到光绪二十五年（1899年），祖庙大修，形成现在这样一座体系完整、结构严谨、具有浓厚地方特色的庙宇建筑。

祖庙内供奉的是北帝神，传说是北方水神，所有兴风作浪的龙虾蟹将都由他统管。由于唐宋时期珠三角一带水灾多，禅城人便将北帝请到禅城坐镇。说来奇怪，自此之后，禅城一带再也没有闹过水灾。广东人有以水为财的观念，所以北帝崇拜就成了珠三角民俗的典型，其中更蕴含着风调雨顺、国泰民安的良好愿望。都说祖庙很灵的，当地人把祖庙视为福庙，每逢中国传统的节假日，如春节、端午、中秋等，佛山和珠三角一带老百姓都会不约而同地聚集在祖庙，很多人结婚、生子、上学等都来祖庙。当天祖庙里人就很多，这里也有一些犯太岁的开光卡和护身符卖，很多人买呢。

不过我觉得除了烧香祈福，祖庙更值得看的是这里的各种文物，里面的建筑装饰工艺巧夺天工，所以被外国友人誉为“东方民间艺术之宫”。祖庙的建筑装饰大量采用了陶塑、木雕砖雕、灰塑等，在祖庙各处的陶塑、瓦塑可以说历经了百年风雨，但是釉色仍光亮如新，可见其精良的制造工艺。另外，木雕众多，这些木雕线条简练，豪放、粗矿、流畅，构图大方饱满，装饰性强而著称，题材以人物、动物、花卉、瓜果等为多，祖庙前殿、正殿所陈列的大型神台，就是禅城著名的金漆木雕杰作之一。所以有空的时候应该慢慢看，读读这些雕刻中的故事，可以更深刻的了解祖庙。

佛山祖庙里有黄飞鸿和叶问两位武术大师的纪念馆，里面陈列了两位大师的影像介绍、影视剧照、曾经用品、武功秘籍等，很值得看看的。也有年轻人在练武。

当天因为还是新年假期，所以当地相关部门安排了很多活动供市民观赏。比如有木偶戏，几个老人一边舞木偶，一边唱粤剧，很有看头。还有醒狮表演、粤剧演出，都围满人观看。
