很多年没有认真游青秀山了，去年进去两次，一次就到了长廊、铜鼓音乐台，以前在铜鼓音乐台做过2次活动，发现变化很多；另一次就在山上两个人工湖附近拍模特。不过一直没有走到山顶上。
10月下旬去那里采访集体婚礼，之后有点时间，就开车上去游青秀山，没想到，我连路都不知道怎么走了，一路问人才到达凤凰塔、中泰友谊园、桃花岛、万寿观音禅寺。
凤凰塔、中泰友谊园、桃花岛这3个点跟以前没有太多的改变，倒是在桃花岛那里意外看到有几棵树开花了，真神了，10月开桃花。不过南宁气候四季如春的，青秀山上开的花品种很多，桃花开可能也不足为奇。
到了万寿观音禅寺的恢弘气势让我意想不到。以前的三宝堂规模不大的，很古朴。从上世纪80年代开始，南宁的香客便有“烧头香”（子时）的习惯，于是当时观音禅寺的前身———三宝堂把寺院的开放时间延长至晚上11点，逢十四，三十通宵开放，这个习俗沿用至今。据说，这是全国唯一在夜间开放的寺院。我有一朋友每年的年三十晚都上去烧香拜佛。
记得后来有一次去，还建了一个很大的佛。现在去都不见了，不知道是不是我没找对地方？反正那个地方现在是一个我完全没见过的大寺庙，叫万寿观音禅寺。
据说2004年，南宁青秀山风景区的观音禅寺扩建工程开始动工。在原禅院的旧址上改建，扩建后更名为“万寿观音寺”，占地面积约15亩，是原有面积的三倍。寺院内有大雄宝殿、药师殿、观音阁、卧佛殿、法物流通处、素菜馆等布置，整体仿唐宋建筑风格。时经4年到2008年大雄宝殿终于落成。观音禅寺的历史最早可追溯至980年前的北宋时期。当时即有出家人在此筑庐修行，后扩建为白云精舍、妙超寺等。明朝万历年间改建为万佛禅寺。几经变故，历经沧桑，禅寺延续千年，成为今日的观音禅寺。传说，之所以名为“观音禅寺”，是因为观音菩萨曾多次显圣于此。
明天还要上青秀山去采访，有时间还是想再仔细玩一玩。
