9月9日晚上，上思县和广西电视台都市频道在南宁九一天地举行“千美子”第九届森林小姐大赛南宁选拔赛，几十位美女参加了选拔赛，参加比赛的佳丽以自选服装、问答、才艺展示等环节展现自己，他们中的优胜者将参加今年10月29日到30日在上思县举办隆重的2011广西上思•十万大山原始森林旅游文化节和森林小姐大赛总决赛，美籍华人著名歌手费翔将携快男快女等明星到场助阵。
