“南山风景区”的西白杨沟，位于乌鲁木齐以南约60公里的天山余脉之中。沟谷里雪峰点点，群山峻峭，云杉挺拔，绿草如茵。在西白杨沟的尽头，绿树遮蔽处，断崖壁立，一条高达40余米、宽约两米的瀑布如白练悬空，一泻而下，这就是名为“神布拉克”的瀑布，哈萨克语是“圣洁的泉水”的意思。新疆有许多得天独厚的景观，但山景中有瀑布还是比较罕见的。
