到库车可去王府参观一下，库车王府的全称是“库车世袭回部亲王府”。“回部亲王”就是“维吾尔王”，统领着天山南部维吾尔族的大部。
库车王府始建于清朝道光八年（1828年）。乾隆年间，回部亲王的第一代王爷名叫米尔扎·鄂对，是统领南疆重镇库车、阿克苏、拜城三城的地方官员。清朝政府在平定准噶尔及大小和卓叛乱时，米尔扎·鄂对为维护祖国统一，做出了卓越的贡献。为此，乾隆皇帝册封他为“一品扎萨克达尔汗”。到1949年9月26日，新疆和平解放，世袭亲王共计十二代。第十二代亲王达吾提·买合苏提（1927—2014），是中国最后一位的王爷。

1951年至1958年，由于错案，达吾提·买合苏提在阿克苏劳改
1984年至2014年，担任库车县政协副主席、人大代表。
近200年的库车王府，1937年被国民党军阀盛世才毁坏。我们现在看到的王府，是2004年根据达吾提·买合苏提的回忆，依照第十一代亲王时期的王府原样重建的。融维吾尔族建筑风格、中原建筑风格、俄罗斯建筑风格为一体。

库车现在是个县。但库车曾是古龟兹的中心，东起轮台，西至巴楚，北靠天山，南临塔克拉玛干大沙漠，新疆的库车、拜城、新和、沙雅、轮台县一带，都曾是古代西域龟兹国的领地，其势力范围可见一斑。王府里的龟兹博物馆，多方位地展示了龟兹文化。
