2011年7月28日参观新疆五彩滩。五彩滩位于新疆阿勒泰地区布尔津县境内，地处我国唯一注入北冰洋的额尔齐斯河北岸的一二级阶地上，海拔480米，往哈巴河县方向，距布尔津县城24公里。额尔齐斯河激猛的河流冲击以及狂风侵蚀，形成了北岸的悬崖式雅丹地貌，河岸岩层抗风化能力强弱不一，轮廓便会参差不齐，而岩石含有矿物质的不同，又幻化出种种异彩。一天的早、中、晚，五彩滩拥有不同的美，最美是在落日时分，阳光照射下的岩石色彩以红色为主，间以绿、黄、白、黑及过渡色彩，色彩斑斓、娇艳妩媚，因此被称作“五彩滩”，号称是“新疆最美的雅丹地貌”。
