DAISY: What do you usually do at the weekend, Linda?

LINDA: I do my housework on Saturdays.

       I usually clean the kitchen and the bathroom -- all that kind of thing.*

       And I often make bread on Saturdays.

       I like to make my own bread.

DAISY: My Goodness! That's very impressive.

LINDA: Nonsense! It's easy.*

And it's a long way to the baker's.

      Our house is forty miles from the town.

DAISY: Forty miles! Good Heavens, Linda!*

 What do you do about shopping?

LINDA: To tell you the truth, I don't do much shopping.*

 I drive to Perth once a month.

 But it takes a lot of time, and it's expensive,

 so I don't go into town very often.*

DAISY: But where do you buy your food?

LINDA: We're near the sea. I get beautiful fish from the boats.

       And I can buy a lot of things from the village shop.*

It's sometimes a bit difficult in winter.

       But it's OK.

DAISY:  Forty miles to a town! I can't believe it!*

On Saturdays.

B:  The one on the right. The one on the left belongs to my brother.

A:  Very nice. Whose is the garden?

B :  The garden belongs to the family. It's my sister’s, my brother's and mine.

TOM: There it is!

      Can you hear it?

REPORTER: Paul, please tell our listeners.

PAUL: Yes, it is.

REPORTER: Are you looking forward to Sunday?

PAUL: Yes, I am.

REPORTER: That's the spirit, Paul!
