昨天，我将小毛驴的招募邮件群发，竟收到了在美国时地升农场的回信，很想念他们，阅读他们的来信竟然能够激发我内心的平和。只可惜，农场的CSA十四年后因为种种原因停止了，但学校的修复可以给予更多年轻的力量参与进来。

    翻出了在农场过生日的视频，再看这两天正在重新整理已经翻译完的《CSA指导手册》的书稿，看到了他们在启动前几年的艰辛，感同身受。

    今天在农场，天气格外好，凤凰岭显得格外清晰，天也那么清澈的蓝，看着“虎妞”还有她刚出生一个多月的6个小宝宝懒洋洋的在稻草堆上晒太阳，觉得特别惬意。

    此时此刻，我可以与农场的鸟儿对话，可以不自主的微笑，还可以和存旺大声的对唱……

Shi Yan, it was so so good to hear from you again.  First of all I want to thank you very specially for the beautiful scarves you sent to us through your friend.  We just love them and they are so artistic and beautiful.  We are actually hoping to have them framed some day.
 Thanks also for sending the video of your place and work.  You have truly carried the message to China.  I never doubted that you would.  Your spirit of gentleness, love and eagerness for learning is still very strong here at Earthrise.  We think of you often and your name comes up many times.  In fact, if you have not checked our website you will see that we now have a quarterly newsletter.  Out second one just came out this week and we have put it on our website at www.earthrisefarm.org.  Tell us what you think.
 
Right now Eaerthrise Farm is pretty well covered in snow.  We have had a good generous share of it this season along with alot of very cold weather.  October was very rainy and cold so the amount of sub moisture in the soil is very very good.  The land was very dry and our last summer gave us little rain.  Although it was difficult for our farmers to get their crops out of the fields because of the rains, most of them did manage eventually to get them way into November and some yet in December.  Others could not get them before the snow took over.
 
Next summer we will not have a CSA because we can not afford to hire head farmers like Nick and Joan.  Easy Bean Farm will grow vegetables and we will give our share subscriptions to them and we will pick them up and manage to still have fresh vegetables for our eager faithful subscribers.  In place of the CSA we will hopefully be growing vegetables for some school lunch programs, Carol Ford is going to rent some of the land for her produce.
 
My Mom is doing quite well, but her mind is not very clear.  At times she knows us and we rejoice when that happens.
