During the current transit strike, bus and O-Train services are not operating.  The City of Ottawa is doing all we can to reach a fair settlement that respects our employees, property taxpayers and transit riders.

Organized shuttles, such as those being operated by the colleges and universities, and community organizations may be granted access to the Transitway. To apply for a Transitway permit, call 613-842-3600, starting Monday afternoon.

PSA: City adding to efforts to mitigate impact of ATU strike on residents

Helping You Get Around

Until bus and O-Train service is restored, the City of Ottawa is taking steps to help keep you moving. We’ve opened up downtown bus lanes and allowed downtown bus stops to be used as carpool meeting zones. There are also reduced no-stopping hours, thousands of new parking spots, and park-and-ride lots available for carpooling.

Here are the steps the City is taking to
keep Ottawa moving:

Carpooling
Parking
Traffic regulations
STO
Teleworking
Taxis
Walking and cycling
Assisting residents most affected by the strike
