所有的星落在地平线上就是指位于星盘的上半部分，远近出名有种小范围的感觉，如附近村、镇之类，毕竟体现的是古人那时的情况。这句论断很简单，不过有欠代表性，比如关键的星如果都落在12宫的话，恐怕很难生出这样的人。

 

dispatch of affairs不知道会不会是专指古人的信件速递业务，这样的差事需要的人确实得行动迅速，手脚麻利才行。

月亮，作为上升之母，位于地平线之下，落在“狮尾”、“处女之首”位置，太阳位于第六宫，且土星或火星落在下降点、得势，则盘主体质虚弱多病。

 

当上升点落在巨蟹时，主宰星月亮亦称为Lady of the Ascendant，这是个别称。“狮尾”即狮子座的尾巴，对应恒星Denebola，是颗明亮的恒星。“处女之首”不太明确，字面上应是指室女座的头部，不过查星图室女座的头部并未有命名的恒星，也没有突出明亮的恒星，如果从经度位置来看，与星座头部差不多的经度上有恒星Zavijava，它位于室女的肩部，属于次要恒星，基本与头部的经度相对应。土星或火星的得势可能仅指星座主宰和曜升，也有可能还包括了Triplicity和Terms，这里条文没有确切说明。

 

这个条文定义了一个复杂的星位格局，能够符合论断条件的命例恐怕不会多见。

非常简单的条文，论断也很武断，水星落在双鱼虽然落陷，但仅凭此一点不能代表所有水星落在双鱼座的人都会这样。

45. Jupiter very potent in a geniture always promises some extraordinary happiness, and if he be in the Mid-heaven near the cusp in Capricorn he gives a great deal of good fortune by means of violence and power under pretence of justice, but the same will have an unfortunate issue.

 

木星在盘中强势，会给人带来诸多喜乐，如果它落在中天，靠近摩羯座的宫首，则此人将会以虚假道义为名、通过暴力手段获取大量财富，与此对应的最终结局也是悲惨的。

 

根据条文的描述，中天是落在摩羯座开始区域，木星强势的话应是落在射手座，临近摩羯座，木星强的人就是比普通的要幸运。至于为什么这个临近摩羯中天的木星会带来欺世盗名的行为，难于理解，仅从通常的行星、星座及宫位角度无法说明问题，所以依据应是与黄道上的固定位置有关。

 

木星临近摩羯座，就是落在射手座的尾部区域，那么观察一下这个区域，可以发现两颗相对较为突出的恒星Acumen和Sinistra。下面给出一些关于这两颗星的资料。

 

对于Acumen，有资料显示：A star in the sting of the Scorpion。。。and the Place where One Bows Down, titles indicative of the creature's dangerous character; and referring to the striking curve of stars which lies in a dark portion of the Milky Way that forms the tail of the Scorpion, terminating in the poisonous upturned stinger, as if ready for an attack。。。These stars shows up a negative Mars-Moon quality in people who have them poorly aspected, with a tendency towards a morbid outlook, seeing the worst rather than the best in everything. If their religious views are affected, as so often with anything in Sagittarius, there is a tendency to be either the 'hellfire and damnation brigade' or to take up a fierce anti-religious and even anti-God stance。。。位于蝎刺上的恒星，也就意味着这个恒星对应的区域是天蝎座的尾刺位置。

 

对于Sinistra，则是：A star on the right hand of the Serpent Bearer Ophiuchus the hand that is holding the tail of the serpent Serpens。。。It gives an immoral, mean and slovenly nature。。。When Ophiuchus, encircled by the serpent's great coils, rises he renders the forms of snakes innocuous to those born under him. They will receive snakes into the folds of their flowing robes, and will exchange kisses with these poisonous monsters and suffer no harm。。。后半句是占星家Manilus对上升点落在蛇尾的解释含义，虽然这里说的不是上升，但从象征含义中可以发现它的本意与蛇性有关。

 

Acumen和Sinistra这两颗星在现在是位于射手座的尾度，二者的距离为1度左右，以每百年1度20分移动，如果时间向前到推300年，那么他们的位置追溯到24-25度前后，考虑到蝎刺和蛇尾所代表的不只是某一颗恒星而是一个区域，所以范围要大很多，这里可以看出木星落在这个区域内是不善的。

 

木星强势带来幸运，摩羯中天伴随着权力欲望，木星高挂中天但位于蛇蝎阴险部位之地，在获得地位名望提升的同时潜藏着伪善险恶的动机，这些或许是这个论断的由来。
