Home Open: In Australia, "Home Open" means
this house/apartment/flat (either for sale or
rent) is open on a certain day for inspection.
Inspection means people can come at a certain time to see the
inside of the house and ask the Property
Manager questions. Then they make an application
with the PM to request for renting the house. Normally there are
several people who wants to rent one place, the PM will need to go
through the documents and check references of these candidates,
finally choose the best person to rent the house. Normally real
estate agents open homes on Saturdays and Sunday
for several hours, for example
from 11:00am to 2:00pm Saturday. They put this beside the
advertisement of the sale or rental of the house on newspapers or
Websites. People can come to look at the house during this time.
The Property Manager will be there waiting for peole to
come.
