       But others do not agree. People who dislike it have their reasons .Firstly, they say that they can find something else go do. Moreover, they argue that the spring festival gala on CCTV should not have been the most powerful program in this day.

      There is some truth in both arguments. But it is likely to do more harm than good, if you maintain that it is the only thing to do at that night. Some more meaningful things can be found easily, such as parties, sharing views with families, etc. Obviously, there is little doubt that further attention will be paid on this issue.

      The Spring Festival Evening Get-Together has been held in China for over two decades, which seems to have been an indispensable company during the traditional New Year's Eve for a great number of people ,who appear to have accustomed to enjoying the sights and sounds of a brilliant feast, while gathering with their beloved family.

      However, an increasing number of people have voiced different opinions towards it, as more diverse life styles have emerged nowadays.       Spring Festival, a time and occasion for Chinese people to celebrate, is coming so that families in China can have a reunion. In spite of the various mass media of entertainment, watching the yearly "Spring Festival Evening Get-together", developed by CCTV Channel 1 more than two decades ago, remains kind of a habit for most Chinese families.

      As a very popular program, it contains all types of performances with which the directors try to suit the tastes of most people. And many people like or tend to accept it because this is the easiest thing to do, as many TV potatoes do. Besides, they could sit together, chatting, laughing, and taking snack foods.
