Follow 及follow out 的用法讲解

Follow   vt.跟随, 追随, 沿...而行, 沿…前进，顺…前进；理解, 遵循, 从事, 追求, 注视

1. The children followed their mother into the room.孩子们跟着母亲进了房间。
2. We shall follow closely the latest advance of the subject in the world.我们将密切注意世界上这一课题的最新进展。
3. We followed the road to the top of the hill.我们沿着这条路走到了小山顶。

• 接着；随后为  Spring follows winter.冬去春来。
• 从事He follows the trade of baker.他从事烤面包行业。
• 注视；注意He followed the speaker's words closely.他仔细听演讲者的话。
• 明白；懂I didn't follow his line of reasoning.我不明白他的推理方法。
• 密切注意；发生兴趣He follows all the football news.他密切注意足球赛的新闻。
• 听从；服从The soldiers must follow the officer's orders.士兵们必须执行军官的命令。

习惯用语

Superstition results from ignorance.迷信产生于无知。

Following  adj.  接着的；其次的
