Fear，Fearless，Fearful的用法

  Fearless  adj.不怕的, 大胆的, 勇敢的, 无畏的

    be fearless of the consequences.不为后果担心

    Fearful adj.可怕的, 吓人的, 恐怕的, 严重的；很厉害的；很坏的; 丑陋的; 极端的

• a fearful sound可怕的声音
• a fearful accident可怕的车祸
• The boss was fearful of his secretary's anger.老板很怕他的秘书生气。
• a fearful waste of time时间浪费得很厉害
• What a fearful waste of time and money!这样浪费时间和金钱真是不得了!
• a fearful attraction很大的吸引力
• be fear about 忧虑
• be fear for 担心
• be fearful of falling怕摔倒

     He was fearful of the consequences.他为后果担心。

    be fearful that…担心, 害怕…

 There is no fear of his getting any injury.他不会受伤的。

• There's not much fear of frost at this time of year.每年这个时候,就不用担心会下霜冻了。
• The teacher refused to have his daughter in his class, for fear of showing favour to her.教师不愿意把自己的女儿编入自己的班级,恐怕会对她有所偏袒。
