Rainstorms Signal and work arrangement in Shenzhen

Name 名称: Yellow Rainstorms Signal 暴雨黄色预警信号

Meaning 含义: 6小时内可能或者已经受暴雨影响。

Heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Shenzhen, exceeding 30 millimeters in an hour, and is likely to continue.

Action Taken 防御措施：

1、及时通知易受暴雨影响的户外工作人员；

2、有关部门密切注意暴雨可能造成的城市内涝、山体滑坡等灾害。Members of the public should take necessary precautions to reduce their exposure to risk posed by heavy rain, such as flooding.
Parents, students, school authorities and school-bus drivers should listen to radio or television announcements on the weather, road and traffic conditions.
Candidates for public examinations should attend the examination as normal, but should listen to radio or watch television in case the weather deteriorates suddenly.
Farmers and fish pond owners, particularly those in low lying or flood frequented areas, should take the necessary precautions to minimize losses, which include checking and clearing the drainage system within and around the farm/fish ponds to ensure that all the drains are not blocked. Where possible, fish pond operators should reduce the water level of ponds which are likely to be flooded.

Name 名称: Orange Rainstorms Signal 暴雨橙色预警信号

Meaning 含义: 3小时内可能或者已经受暴雨影响，降雨量50毫米以上。Heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Shenzhen, exceeding 50 millimeters in an hour, and is likely to continue.

Action Taken 防御措施：

1、低洼、易受水浸地区注意做好防涝工作；

2、建议暂停易受暴雨侵害的户外作业。

Employees working outdoors in areas exposed to rain should suspend outdoor duties if weather conditions in those areas so warrant.
People who have to travel should carefully consider weather and road conditions.

Work Arrangement 上班安排:

如橙色暴雨信号在上班时间前发布，员工应当到公司上班，部门主管对交通有困难的同事应当采用灵活工作时间。

If the Orange signal is issued before working hours, employees should report for duty as usual, provided that transport services are available. Supervisors are encouraged to adopt a flexible attitude in case their staff has genuine difficulties in arriving at work on time.

如橙色暴雨信号在工作时间内发布，员工应当留在公司，在外出差的同事应采取自我保护，寻找庇护。回家途中的员工应当留意道路和天气变化。
If the Orange signal is issued during office hours, employees working indoors should remain on duty as usual unless it is dangerous to do so. Employees traveling should take shelter as soon as possible. Employee on the way back to home should take into account the road and weather condition.

Name 名称: Red Rainstorms Signal 暴雨红色预警信号

Meaning 含义: 3小时内可能或者已经受暴雨影响，降雨量100毫米以上。Very heavy rain has fallen or is expected to fall generally over Shenzhen, exceeding 100 millimeters in an hour, and is likely to continue.

Action Taken 防御措施：

1、幼儿园、托儿所和中小学停课，学校和托幼机构应指派专人负责保护到校的学生和入园（托）的儿童；

2、临时避险场所开放，危险地带人员撤离；

3、各职能部门做好相关防御准备。

Stay indoors or take shelter in a safe place until the heavy rain has passed. Employees working outdoors in exposed areas should stop work and take shelter. People having no safe place to go may take temporary refuge in any of the special temporary shelters opened by the Home Affairs Department. People who are already at work should stay where they are unless it is dangerous to do so.

Work Arrangement 上班安排:

Don’t need go to work. 不用上班

中午12:00或之前信号降级或解除，员工须于2小时内回公司报到（如有特殊原因不能返回，须及时来电向公司解释）；中午12:00之后信号降级或解除，则下午不用上班。

If the signal is relieved or lowered at or before 12:00, employees need to be on duty within 2 hours (for any special reason you cannot report duty, please call the company)
