I should note that I don't feel like I really understood how markets worked until after I started reading the Austrians. I didn't get it from my graduate training, for sure. To some extent, that's appropriate. You are specializing more and more as you go into the upper-level courses. But how markets work to coordinate human activity is something that I think the Austrians are quite good at explaining.
