挪威奥斯陆有个著名的维格兰人体雕塑公园。是维格兰 Gustav Vigeland 1869--1943 毕生心血的艺术结晶。600多个青铜和石刻雕像围绕人生的生老病死、男欢女爱 悲欢离合、喜怒哀乐各类话题，把人物塑造得栩栩如生。

    维格兰先生是木匠的儿子，早年作品是绘画和木刻，后来受罗丹的影响启发才向雕塑方向发展，维格兰热衷阅读荷马史诗，所以有人评价他作品也呈现出某些史诗般壮阔的气势。

    北欧人创作的人体雕塑有着北欧人体型的鲜明特点：粗壮有力！比意大利佛罗伦萨米开朗基罗广场上的人体雕塑更为粗壮，但是人物神态描写和线条刻画不如后者精细。公园中部分雕塑是维格兰去世后由他的学生根据维格兰留下的计划继续完成的。

    雕塑公园分为“生命之桥”“生命之泉”“生命之环”“生命之柱”几个主题600多个人体雕塑栩栩如生。你可以对着这些雕塑静静思索，静思默想。估计每个人的解读会都不一样。
