现在每个星期六的傍晚两个孩子一起去学游泳，所以我们每个星期六的傍晚时光都得奉献给游泳池，也因为这样，今年没办法带孩子去观看国庆预演，Chloe不止一次向我投诉：“每年你都会带我们去观看可是为何今年没有？我想要去看SG50。”我也想去看啊！可是国庆预演的时间与游泳课有冲突，而且每年我都有申请国庆庆典门票，无论是预演或者正式演出的门票，每年都申请不到。。。又有人说申请两张的成功率比申请四张来得高，因为每年我和孩子的爸都会各自申请四张，一家四口嘛，我还以为我们的运气差呢，和同事们聊起，结果发现很多人也和我一样，有的也是年年申请两张而已可是也是得不到，记得有一次和得士司机聊起这件事，他说他申请了十多年了，真的是年年申请，也是申请不到票，现在老了，已经不想去了，而且也没有精力去参与大型活动了！
我告诉Chloe,
等多两年吧！等读5年级的时候就有机会正式成为免费的观众之一了。作为爱国教育的其中一项活动，所有的5年级学生都会被安排到国庆预演现场当观众，体验国庆的欢乐气氛，可是学校不会顺便带学生的家长去看，除非孩子有幸代表学校去参与国庆演出，父母就有机会去观赏了！我同事的孩子很幸运有机会代表学校参与国庆演出，父母因此能获得两张预演的门票，多好！我还在痴痴地等，不懂何时我也有这样好的机会呢！虽然只是观看预演，但总好过没有，预演和正式庆典唯一的不同就是没有大人物的出席，其它节目如鸣枪、飞行表演、歌唱舞蹈和烟花汇演等样样都不会少。
国庆，也是与家人一起分享、一起庆祝的时候。
国庆假期来临的前一天也就是今天，两个孩子的学校都有国庆活动，她们感到很开心，对她们来说不必上课考试听写做功课就是一种幸福。为了增添国庆气氛，我也特地给孩子们做了鱼尾狮Merlion的创意早餐。
