英语的语序也是影响学生阅读的一个难点，尤其是当句子较长时，加之学生对语法的理解不是很准确时，就有点头晕了。所以，了解英语的语序能帮助学生理清思路，把握好句子的整体结构，从而把握句子的正确意思。

而插入语影响语序的一个重要的语法点。

插入语的常见形式：虽然处于句子内部，但是插入语的存在并不影响句子的结构。插入语可以是副词、动宾短语、介词短语，动词不定式短语、动词分词短语，也可以是各类从句。

插入语是对句子的额外补充说明，是句子主体内容之外的成分，用逗号或者破折号把插入语和主体内容隔开。虽然处于句子内部，但是插入语的存在并不影响句子的结构。插入语可以是副词、动宾短语、介词短语，动词不定式短语、动词分词短语，也可以是各类从句。

　1　副词作插入语

　　This is done by a great number of ring-shaped air jets on the bottom of the craft. It “flies”，therefore, but it cannot fly higher.

　　通过船底的许多圆形喷气嘴可以实现这一目的。因此，船就“飞”起来了，但飞得不高。

　　When the pagoda reached Japan, however, its architecture was freely adapted to local conditions.

　　动宾短语作插入语

　　Smoking, it is believed, is responsible for 30 per cent of all deaths from cancer and clearly represents the most important preventable cause of cancer in countries like the United States today.

　　有人认为，吸烟应对癌症死亡总数的30%负责，在今天像美国这样的国家里，显然是最重要的可预防致癌因素。

　　We, for our part, are obsessed by the problem of how to render the basic face of cohabitation simpler and more reasonable, in order that unhappy marriages may less frequently result.

　　就我们而言，感到困扰的问题是：如何使两性同居变得较为简单和合理，以便少造成些怨偶婚姻。

    3 不定式短语作插入语

　　It is said that the blood poison is, so to speak, a newer product from an improved formula

　　据说，血液毒液不妨说是经过改良配方制成的较新产品。

　　4 动词分词短语作插入语

　　Robots, becoming increasingly prevalent in factories, and industrial plants throughout the developed world, are programmed and engineered to performed industrial tasks without human intervention.

　　机器人在所有发达国家的工厂和工业生产部门得到日益普遍的应用，人们通过编程和设计使其在无人干预的条件下完成工业生产任务。

　　For this reason there is no risk to the customer in the modern practice, adopted by some banks, of printing the customer’s name on his cheques.

　　5 从句作插入语

　　It is importance, if one does not wish to inconvenience and to bore one’s friends, not to tell lies.
