Chapter 4

In the desert after the war

Helen,Carlos and their new friends Jack and June climbed out of the hole,"how are we

going to get back?" Asked Carlos.

Suddenly,Cralos and Jack found them sinking deep into the Quicksand."HEAVE-""HO!"

The girls tried to pull the boys out.Finally,Carlos and Jack came out.



Helen spotted a stick on  the ground."Hey......!" Too late!Cralos tripped over it,

and landed headfirst in Jack,who over balanced ,and knocked over Helen.

4“OW”+8“THUD”（four belonged to the book）'s sound spred from their spot all over

to the desert. 

The stick rose upword,until it had 4 feet of itself out of the groud.


 
Helen was excited when Carlos told her it was "homepole" which tripped him.So they

tried to go home using it.Helen tried to stand on it......Cralos tried to sit on

it.....June tried to jump into it......Jcke tried to run into it......

Then,they tried at the same time."Bang!Crash!Tumble!Thud!" They fell onto each

other(again).



Chapter 5

Home again

"Hey!maybe we can go back using the book!"Helen said,looking at the button on

it,which now said"Return".

"Oh,we're not coming."said Jack."We live here."

"Do come again."said June.

SO,Carlos pressed that button,and they left IRAQ.

They came back into the library.

Helen spotted a book named <France>and a  letter in a corner.The letter read:

July 2nd

Elffel Tower.

Paris.

France.

Dear Helen and Cralos:

     I am the owner of the library.Meet me on the top of the Elffel Tower  at 10 pm.
