    war

Suddenly there was the sound of airplanes overhead.

"Hey!"shouted Helen over the noise.

"No!they're ......"

"BATTLEPLANES!!!!"

Screamed Helen,lunging at Carlos as a bomb exploded beside them.

"Where is the bombshelter?" yelled Carlos.

"Dig."yelled Helen.throwing his walking stick to him and poingting at a hole in

the middle of a pile of rocks.

Helen jumped into the hole,and dug.Cralos joined in.soon they were standing

head-deep in the sand.Helen tunneled down to the bottom and covered them with sand.

The rumble of bombs continued for a couple of hours,Helen tried to read<IRAQ>,

when she came to a picture of Ianna Sanctuary after the war,"BUM...THUD...OU!"

Carlos had woken,he jumped a foot in the air,and bumped his head on the ceiling.

Then,he passed out.

After a while,a short girl and boy fell down the tunnel.The girl landed on Helen,

the boy bounced off the girl and landed headfirst in the groud,<Iraq> flew from

Helen's hand,and landedd on Carlos's face!

There was the sound of four "Thuds"and four "OOOOOWWWWWS"and,of course,the rumble

of bombs.Sand fell from the ceiling because a bomb explode and their "CRASH!"
