乌 镇，十字形的内河水系将全镇划分为东南西北四个区块，人称东南西北四栅。东栅是其中最早开发的，傍河而筑明清建风格的民居宅屋，辅以河上石桥，体现了小 桥、流水、古宅的江南古镇风韵。个人以为，东栅能保持着原生态的美，全因沿岸保留着300多户本地人家，完全不似西栅那种后天的、精雕细琢修饰过的现代访 古景区。
     夜宿河边的钟阿姨家，枕水而眠。清早，恍惚中听到久违的收音机早新闻，不敢再贪睡，乘游客未至，赶紧…住东栅不就是为了体验水乡的原汁原味… 出门时，钟阿姨反复叮嘱，7点半前一定要回来吃早餐，因为那时有查票的。后来转着转着回到钟阿姨家，吃了那一顿至今难忘的早餐，现如今一想起那超美味的凉 拌豆腐，仍口水直流，真没吃过那么美味的，钟阿姨看俺意犹未尽，又亲手给俺做了一盘…
    虽未买门票，但俺也没有逃票，东栅凭票入内的场馆，俺一个都不进… 乌镇，一个原本不那么出名的小镇，因了刘若英和黄磊的《似水年华》，在许多人的心里成了一个浪漫幽静古老的水乡小镇。
