     一号坑展出的是步兵阵，据介绍，坑内共有兵马俑6000余个，分为步兵、弩兵等兵种，目前向观众展示的估计只有总数的1/3。一号坑展厅采光最好， 但对于文物的保护却最不利。当年兵马俑出土时身上的彩绘一见阳光后就在半个小时后全部氧化，所以其余2/3的兵马俑还沉睡在封土之下。
