《三娘教子》又名《王春娥》、《双官诰》。故事本自李渔《无声戏》等小说，传是实事。
         明代，薛广有妻张氏，妾刘氏及王春娥，刘氏生子名倚哥。薛赴镇江，托友带回白银百两归家，友见利忘义吞没其金，假造棺木，伪称薛死于外，家人惊痛。命老 仆薛保运回灵柩安葬。张氏、刘氏先后再嫁，王春娥织布，与老仆薛保含辛茹苦，抚养刘氏丢下的幼子倚哥。倚哥在学中被讥为无母之儿，负气归家，不听春娥教 训。春娥怒以刀断机布，以示决绝，经过薛保再三劝解，母子和好如初。

       本次在曼哈顿下城的佩丝大学剧场演出的京剧大汇演，是由纽约梨园社举办的，并邀请了国内知名的京剧名伶迟小秋等多位国家一级演员参演。

演员介绍：   
          王春娥 － 迟小秋, 国家一级演员，著名京剧表演艺术家，有“程派标准传人”之美誉，当今程派艺术的领军人物。现北京京剧院青年团团长兼领衔主演。
           薛保 － 朱强，马派须生，国家一级演员，梅团主演。
           薛倚 － 王晓艳，荀派花旦，国家一级演员。
