古风（其三十九）-李白

登高望四海。

天地何漫漫。

霜被群物秋。

风飘大荒寒。

荣华东流水。

万事皆波澜。

白日掩徂辉。

浮云无定端。

梧桐巢燕雀。

枳棘栖鸳鸾。

且复归去来。

剑歌行路难。

Ancient Air (39)

I climb up high and look on the four seas,

Heaven and earth spreading out so far.

Frost blankets all the stuff of autumn,

The wind blows with the great desert's cold.

The eastward-flowing water is immense,

All the ten thousand things billow.

The white sun's passing brightness fades,

Floating clouds seem to have no end.

Swallows and sparrows nest in the wutong tree,

Yuan and luan birds perch among jujube thorns.

Now it's time to head on back again,

I flick my sword and sing Taking the Hard Road.

客中行 － 李白

兰陵美酒郁金香，

玉碗盛来琥珀光。

但使主人能最客，

不知何处是他乡。

Traveling away from home

The fine wine of lanling with its turmeric scent.

Fius tade cups with its amber light.

If only a host can reep his guests drunr,

They will soon foget about their hometowns.
