解答：关于上面句子的成分和结构众说纷纭，也有很多学生有困惑，我发表一下我个人的看法。

took the parcel off the plane 和carried it into the Customs House是并列的谓语，整句是一个并列句。

take off是一个短语动词（verb+副词小品词），该类型的宾语是既可以放到小品词的前面也可以放到其后面，但是在took the parcel off the plane 中又出现了另外一个名词plane，那么我们就不能把take off 看做是一个短语动词了，take是及物动词 the parcel是宾语，而off the plane 有人认为是宾语补足语，本人认为不正确，为什么呢？尽管the parcel is off the plane 完全是可以说的通的，所以就判断有逻辑关系的（这是判断宾补的一个重要方法），就此有人认为off the plane 看做是宾补，但是要注意可以接宾补的谓语动词时一些表达观点的动词，例如，find, think,suppose,treat等。你可以自己造个句子，中文是:我认为广州很漂亮----I find Guangzhou nice。这才是一个典型的宾补句式。
