hello! it's ICEMAN 宇凡, writing you back.

This is the 2nd time I am writing you back..
I wrote a couple of long messages before but 
when I checked today..it was gone..Maybe I 
made a mistake in the process of sending 
the message out..but I stil want to write
you back and let you know that I was very 
suprised and happy to read your detail 
article about my personality/career.

First, I wanna thank you all for being such 
thoughtful and wonderful fans..You really
studied my career and my work.  

To the author who wrote "从偶像派追逐实力派"
although I can't say that you were 100% correct about 
me in your article, but u were close : )
I love my job..it comes with its ups and downs..
just like life! So I've been trying to learn
and improve myself everytime I take on a new role.

Every character that I played in the past has its
unique meanings..I try to deliver certain message
and principle to the audience with each character..
Some characters showed their love for their family
and career; some showed his unconditional love 
towards the love of his life; some showed loyalty
and innocence; some showed loneliness and courage;
some showed different struggles through life in
the time of war; some faced everyday problems such
as staying alive, some faced relationship problems;
some showed that even a powerful man has its soft
side towards love; some showed the darker side of 
the human race..the list can go on and on..

I was a really shy boy growing up..I guess I am 
trying to use acting and singing to open myself 
up more..it doesn't matter what kind of character
I play, it's always the same David underneath, trying
to touch my audience and fans..because that's all
it matters to me.

I finished my 2nd drama in China around August, and
I am currently filming my 3rd tv drama in Heng Dian..
I love working in China, especially in the winter..
summer's heat in Heng Dian was just too much for me..
In my last 2 dramas, i've trying to challenge myself
with more complicated and difficult roles..characters
that represents insanity and mentally illness; characters
who grow up without love and eventually choose to sell
their souls to the devil. It's a lot more challenging
to play these kind of roles, but I love it..hope all
of you will enjoy my new performances in "大珍珠"and
"富贵在天" ^o^.. 

To the small numbers of fans attacking me, thank you for
your concerns.. but I will not let anyone try to put words
or falso statements in my mouth. Let's join together
to share more positive things ok? 

To those of you who enjoyed my drama and music..thank you
for all of your wonderful support and I really hope I can
meet you all soon ^o^y
