编者按

《断章》是“新月派”代表诗人卞之琳（1910—2000）写于1935年10月的一首名诗。该短诗原为诗人长诗中的一部分，后将其截取，独立成章，故名曰《断章》。该短诗共四句，形式上类似绝句，然语言却带着浓厚的现代气息。白描手法，意蕴却朦胧、丰富、深刻。有人认为是一首悲伤的浪漫诗，一种爱与被爱的关系；有人认为是对现代性的一种讽刺；还有人认为该诗传达了一种虚无主义的思想。那么，亲爱的读者，您是怎样认为的呢？此次林苑君选取了七个英译文，译者分别为许景城、杨宪益、戴乃迭、叶维廉、赵彦春、唐正秋、郭生虎、宛城卧龙。以飨读者。译文各有千秋，优劣处，请读者自赏。河北卫视双语主播李强朗诵许景城英文译本，新闻主播王益豪朗诵中文原诗，录音师张晖进行音频编辑。特此感谢。
