Deutz Brut Rose 2008 Champagne (750ml)

Rose Champagne is a speciality of Champagne Deutz.

When last tasted in Feb, 2014, Deutz Brut Rose 08 was still tight & reserved. But this time, its charm is blossoming.

Lovely salmon pink with coppery highlights.

Lush, creamy aroma of cherry, pink grapefruit, raspberry and water-melon, with just a hint of spice adding depth & class.

Succulent & delicious, it’s just too easy to drink that its delicacy & quiet vinosity could be passed unnoticed. Just a hint of spice, too, on the palate.

Totally enjoyable today. But it would actually repay one's patience to cellar it for 3 years or so to let the smoky, spicy complexities grow to enhance the succulent red fruit.
