A well preserved bottle of historical disgorgement.

Served upon uncorking.

Gold-amber. Pinpoint bubbles leisurely arise to our delight.

The bouquet is graceful yet penetrating with nuances of sea breeze, walnut and then sandalwood incense.

Creamy entry. A paradox of vibrant freshness and moderate evolution. On one hand, you still taste juicy red apple; on the other hand, lightly roasted nuts, a hint of preserved plum, honey and nougat. The seamlessly shifting flavors are framed by a driving force of demanding vinosity and vibrant acidity -- simply breathtaking! The finish imprints a life-enhancing memory.

Such wonderful oldie shall be savored only after dinner, as a soul-stirring nectar. But greedy fellows like us drink it as an aperitif, with the only result that the dishes following it become virtually tasteless to me!

Second pour. The thrill is over. Now it’s fuller in body and completely mellow. We rush to finish the bottle in big gulps…
