★在英文中，常会见到“before”或“after”引导状语从句或介词短语的用法：

1、before或after引导的状语从句或介词短语之前，可置表示一段时间的名词，  表“在……之前∕后……（时间）”。

2、before或after引导的状语从句或介词短语之前，亦可置副词shortly、  immediately、long等词，表“在……之前∕后不久∕很久”。

Two years afterthe couple got married,they got divorced.
