★get作不完全不及物动词表示“变成”的意思，相当于become。不过become之后可置任何形容词，而get之后的形容词则有所选择。一般而言，下列形容词均可置于get之后：

1、与“生气”有关的形容词；

2、与“健康”有关的形容词；

3、get之后亦可接过去分词，形成被动语态，等于“be动词+过去分词”；

4、get若使用于现在进行时中，之后可接一般形容词，这些形容词多用比较级。 即：be getting more and more+形容词/be getting+比较级形容词+and+比较级形容   词——变得越来越……

=People who breath bad air for a long time can fall sick.
