1. Bite down on the cotton roll for 30 minutes before removing it.

2. Do not rinse, brush or touch the sensitive area with your tongue or finger. Eat only soft and warm food on the day of treatment.

3. A little bit of flood may appear in your saliva following the procedure. Do not be concerned. This is normal. However, you should consult your dentist as soon as possible if you experience severe pain, swelling or fever. Server bleeding or difficulty opening your mouth should also prompt you to call the office.

4. Avoid sports and strenuous activities for 1 to 2 days following treatment. Speak only when necessary and chew with the side of the mouth unaffected by the treatment.

5. If the dentist puts on stitches, please return to the clinic after five days to have them removed.
