几天来的重要工作之一就是翻译南非的视频资料。翻译的过程中收益颇多，特别与大家分享一下。

1.It is possible! 一切皆为可能 

这是南非的宣传语，N多年前我和另一个哥们翻译的。南非那边的解释是 Nothing is impossible in South Africa 意思是什么都可能，于是就把当时很流行的李宁广告语该了一个字加上去了。一用就是好多年，但现在想想真的受了惯性思维的苦，而且现在阿迪达斯什么的也好像用了类似的广告语，今年我建议改中文翻译为“无限可能”多好的创意呀，可惜被南非总部pass了，人什么不可能？答：改正错误不可能。

 

2.When I first met the family, I was just driving through. Then I came cross this painted house. I went in, and our relationship starts. I really feel good about the fact that people under all odds have decided to remain who they are. It is important that people  keep their traditions because your children will know where they are coming from. And that has made me more respect for the people in the rural areas than the people in the city. They have enriched me, it has been a privilege to know DEMANDE family. for our nod of head for the inside that I have to be.

我第一遇见这个家庭的时候，我正开车路过。我进入到这个涂满图画的房子。我进去，然后我们的友谊开始了。对于这些奇怪的人，却仍能保持他们个性的事实，我感觉非常好。人们保持传统式非常重要的，因为孩子们从中可以知道他们从哪里来。这使得我对这些居住在村庄里的人有比住在城市里的人更多的尊重。从我们之间的互相点头和我对他们的了解中，他们使我更加充实，认识DEMANDE家庭式一种荣幸。

感想：我们今天的生活方式经常让我们忘了身在何处，已经太久没有关心自己了，有多久没有回家了？家里的亲人都好吗？老宅的邻居们怎样了？我们为什么要搬来搬去？我们的爷爷奶奶为什么要定居下来？他们又有着怎样的故事呢？。。。。

站在这里，我想到特殊的地方在于，你可以一层一层的将之剥开，然后你会发现更多的东西。这就是这里能够呈现给你的内容，但仅仅是一部分。

感想：不一定要到南非，你才可以发现美。其实，你只要学会一层层的拨开，可以在任何事物中发现其中美的东西。

我叫奥斯卡·皮斯托瑞斯，他们叫我刀锋战士。我只是个普通人，但我有动力。每当我站在跑道上，人群激励我成功，我为他们而努力。

这是我的南非，来吧，寻找你的南非！

感想：一个没有腿的人挑战正常人世界的奔跑极限速度，这个世界还有什么不可能？他的动力来自于被激励，激励你自己，如果你是战士！！！！

 

5.Usually when I choose time to on wand, it’s easy on the track and you know it’s just such a so really wonderful place to be, you know, a kind of you,You’re so focused on what you do that you kinda forget about everything else.

通常当我选择可以支配的时间时，我觉的在跑道上比较容易，那真是一个好地方，你可以集中精力做一件事情而忘记了其他的事情。               --- 刀锋战士

感想：聚焦。对他来说，跑道是禅定；对我们来说，公司就是道场。

 

6. I think the coach’s role was really important not only planning on a season, but also get you into condition that you need to be, and so everybody else is happy.

我想教练的角色是很重要的，不但要做一季的计划，而且要把你带入你需要的状态，那么就皆大欢喜了。                          ------刀锋战士

感想：体育教练是要把运动员带入状态，企业的教练同样。

 

 

7. Kids’ve just got such great opportunities in South Africa. Such an amazing country, we’ve got such a beautiful landscape, you got to a sun afternoon, enjoy them, that kids just to be, they might achieve just what they can, you know, when they do that anything is really possible.

孩子们在南非有很多的机会，这是一个如此神奇的国度，我们有着如此美丽的风景。人们就像处于一个艳阳高照的下午，享受它，那就是孩子们的方式。他们可以实现任何他们的潜能，你知道的，只要他们做，任何事都有可能。                 ----刀锋战士

感想： 很有境界的话。回到孩子的心态，你也有无限可能。 只要你留心，哪里都有美景。

 

8.Stone Cherries is always been about wearing your ideology on your stem, been bold, been proud, daring to be proud to be African, because for the longest time we’ve been kind or sort of something that you should be apologetic for. So I think Stone Cherries is about connecting you to your authentic self and a lot of our customers say, wow, when I was in one of your garments, I felt amazing and everybody noticed me, and that’s what it’s really about, finding the best you and enhancing you.

 

石彻品牌总是关于穿出你们的意识观念，无畏，自豪，敢于因作为非洲人而骄傲，因为我们经历的那最慢长的一段时间，你应该感到遗憾的了。所以我认为，石彻连接着你和你的真我。很多顾客说，当我穿你们的衣服时，我感觉很棒，很多人都在注意我，那就是真实，找到最好的你，使你更卓著。                        ------------南非著名时装设计师

 

感想：穿衣服是你与真我沟通的一种方式。每个人的真我，无谓，自豪，为自己而骄傲。衣服能帮你达成这一点。

 

9. All of those amazing things that I think Africa is so good at doing, so you know for us being a direct connection to culture and heritage. Obviously we always use the similar ways, we always use all of the richness exists in  this continent, and as part of inspiration.

所以你知道对于我们来说这就是与传统和遗产最直接的联系。很显然我们总是在用相同的方法，我们总是用这个大陆上最富有的东西和我们的灵感。

感想: 傻子都知道，非洲大陆的自然条件并不理想。但，有灵感，资源永远不缺。

 

10.What people need of the wilderness is just that feeling of coming out the rat race, I mean most people grow up in cities these days, life is very active, with a cell phone, and the email, that to be available 24 hours a day. Nowadays, you know, if you can get out into a wild, part of KRUGER on a high cool trail, you can really get a feeling of solitude, you can connect with spiritual thought. you can learn so much in a classroom, and you really can learn a lot of those things in a textbook, and whatever that you can learn about, any subject, but definitely experience what encounter that other day, you only get that by spending time in the bush.

 

 

人们对自然的需求仅仅是从那些无意义的竞争那得来的。我的意思是大多数人是从城市里长大，生活丰富多彩，每日24小时在线，电子邮件。现在，你知道，如果你能深入到自然界中，到克鲁格国家公园高处的某一地方，你就能真正的体会到独居的感觉，你就能够与你的精神思想进行沟通。你能从课堂里学到非常多的只是，你也可以从书本上学到只是，但无论你学到什么，你只能通过在灌木丛里度过一段时间，才能体会到这种绝对的体验。

 

感想：体验式培训的魅力在于。。。经历过的人都知道。

 

11. The perfect dish is always when everything come together beautifully. It’s all about the simplicity, I like the simple things, if I can pick something out of the ground and if I can cook it in a dish that might be my perfect dish.

完美的菜往往是所以几样东西的完美结合，只是需要简单。我喜欢简单的事物，如果我能从地上抓起个东西，然后做成菜，那也许就是我的完美的菜。   

感想：这世界没有废物，关键看利用的人的眼光。                                              

 

 

12.My philosophy is really simple, and I think every good chef or person that loves food will tell you the same thing is just really to respect the product, the produce and do as little as possible to it so it all come out to simplicity, and you know trying to maintain the integrity or been ingrediance, and just bring out the best, and that is really it. You know that is the beauty of being able to cook and being able to meet up of life man with a lot of people again, is that some people I just focus on this small product that the vegetable or food that they produce. And do you know this is a new thing puts out Africa really, it doesn't be like before, with shakes and close relationship with people on that, and that is more exciting. We are not trying to be super inventive in terms of dishes, just trying to respect really what have been produced by the big guys around you and that one to also want to be a part of, you know, to see it on the table being used and cooked with respect which is important and being able to sit down with wine that has been produced on the road. I think that makes everything a special feeling when you can experience that, you can't really put your finger on it, but it's there.

 

感想：大道至简至易。道就在菜中。

这是凌波波，非洲的第一个王国，神秘之地，雨女王统治之地，北临庞大的凌波波河。从穆加迪女王的六个时代开始它的神秘和传奇之旅，控制着云彩和河流。

 

感想：看过阿凡达吧？树与女酋长的原型就来自这神秘的非洲省份。  穆加迪的字面意思为“当今的统治者”。直到今天，女王依然生活在完全隔离的状态，使用着古老的、诡异的求雨方法。雨皇后从不直接与她的平民交流，她是通过她的王室评议会与人民沟通。最后一个女王——Makobo Constance Modjadji 逝世于2005年。王室评议会至今还没有作出关于雨皇后和她的人民的未来的决定。

 

你就能找到雨皇后穆加迪。你还可以参观著名的穆加迪苏铁林，据说雨皇后正是它的守护神，并且这里是全球唯一一处苏铁科植物最密集的地区，穆加迪苏铁也是世界上最大最终名的苏铁科植物，有些可高达13米，这些活化石的历史甚至可以追溯到6000万年前的中生代恐龙时期。

 

在翻译的时候仔细问过一个南非的白人朋友是否相信皇后又求雨的能力，他是这么说，只要她想要让天下雨，只要伸出手指向天空，10分钟之内云彩就会来，她拥有神秘的力量，因为南非政府不给女皇王室费用，凌波波曾经5年干旱，后一年又资金支持了，雨就来了。
