The "red" last only 5 minutes. It was quite amazing that how the sun "dye" the sea water: the blue moment ago and now blue, red, and the black. Nature is beautiful.
This is a typical scene in SoCal. And the beaches are some of the best areas you can find in L.A. The bird, which I think might be a pelican, stood there still and maybe he already had his dinner and also enjoyed the sunset, and thinking, "wow, this is beautiful, and I am not worrying bout the damn traffic like you guys on the 405!"
