In the story, Princess Pip was a capricious girl that she thought everything was boring at first.I can understand her. The trip disappointed her because she wanted everything to be different from home. Princess Pip would like to be curious to discover new things in place of doing the same.I agree with her, anyway she was just a kid.

First Princess Pip did need to control her temper. There is something I want to say to her: life is like a sewer, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it. If you could put happiness into your life, you would realize how lucky you are as a little princess.

Second I don’t like Pip’s parents. What were her father and mother doing while Pip was sad? Dad was polishing his gold coins and mom was enjoying sunshine on her sun chair, they didn’t care about their daughter’s feeling. They even thought that Pip’s words were nonsense. If they could do something enjoyable together with Pip, they would all be blithe all the time.

Fortunately, there was another girl who was full of ideas and her name was Daisy. She found a place where the king, the queen and Princess Pip all started to like without hesitation. She was intelligent, kind-hearted, acceptable and always jolly. I want to be a person like Daisy because I love helping others to gain delight.

Let’s be as curious as Pip, be as friendly as Daisy, by then we would understand the true meaning of the simple word ‘happy’.
