程阳：新泽西州微博直播开奖全美首创

On August 1st New Jersey Lottery became the first lottery in the nation to live stream its winning numbers draw on Facebook.

2011年8月1日，新泽西州Facebook（脸谱微博）开奖直播正式上线运行，成为全美首个采用该技术与系统的彩票机构。新泽西州彩票为此投资15万美元，在彩票机构总部所在地Lawrenceville（劳伦斯维尔）建立了 Facebook 实时动态串流 (Live Stream) 演播室，员工经过培训后上岗作业。

New Jersey Lottery celebrated the launch of its new winning numbers live stream production studio at Lottery headquarters in Lawrenceville, NJ, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, August 22nd 2011. Frank Ragazzo, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, cut the ribbon to the studio alongside fellow Commissioners Munr Kazmir, Al Alvarez, Robert Slater, and Executive Director Carole Hedinger.

The new production facility cost a one-time initial investment of $155,000 for the build out of a secure studio, set design, hi-def camera equipment, and a control room. Existing staff were trained on the equipment, and the livestreaming capability that broadcasts on NJLottery.net. The New Jersey Lottery’s Official Facebook Page was assigned to Ustream, a live interactive broadcast platform.

“This is an exciting time for New Jersey Lottery,” said Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “Live-streaming the winning numbers draw in an interactive, social community online is the future, and the future is now.”

On August 1st New Jersey Lottery became the first lottery in the nation to live stream its winning numbers draw on Facebook.
