EuroMillions winner still has not claimed £112million jackpot

The hunt was on last night for the lucky Brit holding the ticket for a record £113million EuroMillions jackpot prize.

Lotto operator Camelot was still waiting for the mystery winner to come forward to pick up the UK's biggest lottery win.

A Camelot spokesman said: "Whoever has it will get the surprise of a lifetime when they check their numbers."

The winning numbers are 9, 30, 35, 39 and 46, with lucky stars 6 and 8. Whoever matched them - against odds of 76,275,360 to one - will be able to live like a rock star, becoming richer than Rod Stewart, who is worth a reported £110million, and David Bowie, reputed to be worth £100million.

They will be the 589th richest person in Britain and earn £8,500 a day in interest. But if the winner wanted to splash out they could pick up nine £12million Ferrari 250 GTOs or a couple of private jets - a Boeing 767 costs about £56million. Or they could buy a 38 per cent stake in Liverpool FC.

Britain's previous biggest single lottery win was £84.4million in May - but the winner never went public.

Before that, Nigel Page and Justine Laycock, from Barnsley, Glos, held the record, scooping £56million in February.

The Sunday Mirror revealed the pair moved into an eco-friendly £4million mansion and left their £400,000 home to their cleaner.

 The biggest win internationally was in 2007, when two tickets shared £258million on the US Mega Millions lottery.

Angela Kelly, who won £35.4million in August 2007, said: "A EuroMillions win means you can change your own life and lives of people closest to you."
