Nevada Mom Rachael Renee Romanick Hits $33 Million Slot Machine Jackpot

内华达州里诺市的罗曼妮柯斩获3300万美金联网游戏机巨奖

        Rachael Renee Romanick definitely received something more than  stale Peeps or chocolate bunnies for Easter this year.

       这个复活节，罗曼妮柯的收获可不是软糖、巧克力兔子这类老掉牙的东西。

The 38-year-old Reno, NV, mom of four was dragged off her couch Easter Sunday by a friend who wanted to go to a casino. And that decision paid off: Romanick hit the jackpot and won $33 million on an International Game  Technology  "Megabucks"  slot  machine  at  Terrible’s Rail City Casino in Sparks, NV, reports KRNV. Romanick told IGT she had been putting $3 in a slot machine for about 10 minutes when she hit the jackpot, and didn’t even realize what she had won.

The world record slot jackpot of $39.7 million, was won in March 2003 at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. (NEWS1, NEWS2) The Reno Gazette-Journal says Romanick’s win was the biggest slot-machine payout in Northern Nevada history.

"I had to ask someone if this was for real. I kind of froze because this was so unexpected," Romanick said. "I really owe it to my friend. I wanted to stay home, but he wanted to gamble at Rail City and convinced me to join him. I said to myself, ‘Why not? If you’re gonna win big, you have to play big and take a chance." Well done, Romanick!

游乐机头彩的最高纪录是 3970万美金，于2003年3月出在内华达州南部拉斯维加斯的 Excalibur Hotel and Casino 游乐场。罗曼妮柯是内华达州北部历史上中出的最高奖。
