 Crime blotter Box cutters, heroin, bottles of urine… oh my! Used fire extinguishers are not useful devices

Stephen E.Epler Hall-5:13 p.m.  Someone stole money from a wallet in the building.

Fourth Avenue Building -6:38 p.m.  Patrick McCormick was arrested for alleged assault.

West Hall-9:40 a.m.  A window was smashed in the building.

Ondine Housing-3:20 a.m.  Someone pulled a fire alarm in the building. 

Millar Library-4:42 p.m.   Thomas Balow was arrested for alleged use of heroin.  Balow was found passed out, with his head sticking out from underneath a bathroom stall, making noises. Balow was treated and transported to hospital. An empty soda can with a small amount of brown heroin inside was found next to Balow. There were burn marks on the can.

Parking Structure 3-1:36p.m.    Car break-in,  items stolen.

Science Building 1-5:53p.m.  Michael Archer was arrested for trespassing.

Neuberger Hall-5:13p.m. Someone stole three seascape paintings from the second floor of the building. The victim said she had planned to sell the paintings for $1,000 each. The paintings had been on the wall for three weeks before being reported missing by an instructor.

Broadway Housing-2:09 a.m.  Someone used a fire extinguisher, which set off a smoke detector in the building. The fire extinguisher was stolen.

Outside University district-12:52p.m.  Daniel Wark was arrested for assault, after an ex-girlfriend told authorities Wark held her apartment, outside university jurisdiction, and beat her. Wark allegedly strangled the victim for several seconds, according to campus safety reports.

Neuberger Hall Grounds-11:28p.m      Car break-in, items taken.

Street-7:41p.m A Victim was inappropriately touched on their thigh.

Ondine ANNEX-11:38 a.m.  An employee of Victor’s restaurant punched and dented a refrigerator after they were fired.

Parking Structure 2-11:58 p.m.  Someone stole a laptop from a vehicle and ran into a vehicle while fleeing.

Lincoln Hall grounds-10:16 a.m.  John Rouse was arrested for alleged attempt of theft, possession of burglary tools and damage to a bike lock.

Broadway Housing-6:29 p.m.  A digital camera and iPod were stolen from a resident’s room.

Parking Structure 1-7:45 p.m.  Car break-in, window smashed and items taken.

Outside University District-6:17p.m.  Daniel Jones was arrested for alleged possession of prescription drugs and heroin. Two box cutters, arazor blade and two bottles of what appeared to be urine were found on his person.

Smith Memorial Student Union-7:21 a.m.  Someone broke into the Subway and took $300 out of a locked safe, and  a back door leading to the loading docks was damaged.

Montgomery Building -3:48 p.m. Shawn Bisby was arrested after failure to register as a sex offender.

Broadway Housing-7:56 p.m Furs were taken from a room in the building.
