J和G虽然才上PreSchool(学前班),

Dear Parents,
As we continue our ongoing Character Education series, we will
be addressing CITIZENSHIP in November in a unique and exciting way
for the Pre-K classes. As this is a Presidential
election year, we are taking this opportunity to show the children
the importance of voting. We will be having our
own “election” voting on a favorite treat “Cookies VS. Cupcakes.”
All of the children will “register to vote this by signing their
names, and getting their own “voter registration
card”. We will be making campaign posters to
encourage voting for either cookies or cupcakes and decorating the
walkway between classes. On Nov. 4, all the
children will make their votes in our own little voting booth on
the upper play yard and receive a special “I voted”
sticker. After the votes are all in, we will
gather together to tally the ballots so they can see that their
votes all count. Then, on Nov 5, all the classes
will join together to enjoy whichever treat won.
