鄂州市莲花山旅游景区免费开放

记者昨日从市政府办获悉，为了给广大市民、游客提供更佳舒适方便的休闲、健身环境，从明日（1月28日）起，鄂州市莲花山旅游景区免费对市民开放。

湖北省鄂州市莲花山旅游景区是国家AAAA级景区，目前景区门票为25元每人次，通票为35元每人次。2010年3月1日，我市西山风景区免费开放后，市民对于莲花山旅游景区免费的呼声愈加强烈。2013年9月，市委书记李兵亲临莲花山风景区考察时提出，要将莲花山建成体育运动公园。继而景区免费开放的动议正式纳入政府工作议程。在12月27日政府常务工作会议上，市财政局、国资局、旅游局等部门联合商讨后，形成初步意见：要把莲花山风景区打造成鄂州品牌，力争在2014年春节前对游客免费开放。各部门积极着手开放前的各项准备工作。其中，住建部门及城投公司将负责碑林景点的维修，武昌鱼集团公司负责其它景点的修缮工作。目前修缮翻新工作已完成2/3。

莲花山旅游景区负责人告诉记者，景区免费向市民开放后，保洁队员由6名增加到10名。在管理方面，服务质量、环境卫生、秩序维护等将会提高。不过，目前景区中元明塔、祈福堂、神州馆三个景点仍收取门票费10元，原因是景点设计有限、从安全考虑，希望通过收取门票控制游客人数。至如碑林、万宝海长廊、接龙台广场等诸多景点，市民均可免费游览。

据悉，景区开放时间为：春秋季节6:00至20:30；夏季6:00至21:00；冬季7:00至19:30。
