Last summer holiday, I went to Britain with my parents instead of doing nothing at all at home. We spent time together so as to get on well with each other. In Britain, we visited museums and sat in public gardens. All the high-rises and technology attracted us except the changeable weather. What's more, I communicated with some local people in English. As a matter of fact, my spoken English was poor, but I learnt that practice makes perfet and I should make up my mind to improve my English study. And I visited several well-known universities in city center. Because of the burning desire, I used to dream of being a college student in such a prestigious school. At that time, my parents encouraged me to make my ambition come true. As an old saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way. Anyway, I will never lose hope. In one word, this was an enjoyable and unforgettable trip. Not only because of the wonderful view, but also a chance to communicate with my parents.
