My good ways to memorize English words

    I use many ways to memorize English words. First of all, I always read the words that I should memorize as well as review them once a day. Secondly, I always have enough sleep in order to memorize well. That is the best for memorizing English words I think. If you do these, you will memorize the words more easily and more quickly. As you can see, memorizing English not only needs good memory, but also needs some skills.

    Some people always think that learning English is quite difficult, especially to memorize English words. In my opinion, a good method could help us to memorize English words better. I usually read the word again and again and try to divide the word into different parts.  ‘Cupboard’, for example, is a place to store bowls, plates or some food. First, I read it for some times. Then I found I can divide the word in my own way. I suppose that a cupboard is a place to store cups, and there is a door like a board on it. In this way, I can remember this word for a long time. There are many other ways to memorize English words. Everybody has his or her own ways. I like creating creative ways so that I can turn the dull studies into interesting ones.

    Everyone has his or her own way to memorize English words. I am good at memorizing English words. My good ways to memorize English words is, first, I read clearly with the help of the phonetic symbol, next I find those words' Chinese meaning，after that I try to make a sentence with each word. And then I remember these sentences' meanings, finally I can not only remember these words but also use them.

    It is very important for us to learn English well, but it is not easy. The best way is to memorize English words. First, when I watch TV, take buses and read books, it is a good chance to keep some English into heart. For example, restaurant, bookstore, insurance company and so on. Secondly, try to practise more. If you pay more attention to them you will notforget them easily. I think using these two ways can help us learn English well.

     English words are important for both my study and life. Study more, I’ll learn more. And to memorize English words is also an essential way to improve English. I think there should be some ways to memorize English words, not just read and recite. First, we can put the word into a sentence and understand the meaning excatly. Never just recite the letters. It’s dangerous for our memory. Second, read it again and again. If you read a word many time, it is easy to remember it after learning the meaning of the word. Finally, just review it, it is the true part of memorizing words. These are the tips I use to memorize English words.

     Some students are worrying about their memory and they always think that to remember the words and phrases is so difficult. But I don’t think so. If we can follow these tips, we will have a good memory and won’t feel it hard remembering the words. First of all, we have to keep a very healthy body as the basic. The food which does not contain too much fat, such as fruits and vegetables, is helpful to your memory. And having a good sleep is also very important. Then it is your turn for you to use the link method. It must be imagined by yourself so you can remember it better. Make it as strange as you can. When you have remembered, you still have to repeat more and do some revisions very often. This can help you have a long-term memory in your mind. If you have done these, the effect is obvious.

     Many people think that it’s hard and boring to memorize English words. But I don’t agree with them. I think if you have good ways to do that, you’ll be able to memorize them easily and fast. My way to memorize English words is to watch English films such as <Harry Potter> and <Nobody wins>. A good film can easily attract your attention and you can also learn many new words by watching it. Because you pick up the new words while watching the actions and hearing the voices in the film, you’ll never forget them. 
     Another way is to read the words again and again before sleeping and try to recall them the next morning. If you memorize three words everyday, then you’ll learn lots of new words by the end of the year.

     There are many good ways to remember English words, I think. First, you can look at the composition of these words carefully, because some of the English words are made up of other ones. Second, look at the form of these words carefully, they have either suffix or prefix. Finally, you can do not recite English words just like me.(What do you mean?) So these are my good ways to memorize English words.

     English is a very important subject. It must be learnt well. To memorize more words is essential to make progress in English. Here are some good ways. First, you can read the words again and again. I usually read them on my way to school, because an hour in the morning is the most valuable time of a day, our brains are powerful at that time and we can memorize words more easily. Secondly, you can divide the words into different parts. Try to link them together or make them into a poem.It is not only interesting but also useful. Finally, you can try to write down them. It is a helpful way as well. I hope these tips will give you some ideas.

     Nowadays, English becomes more and more important and useful to our life. If we want to learn English well, we must have some good ways to memorize the words. First，you can read the word again and again so that you can remember what it means. Second, if you want to memorize a word quickly and remember it for a long time, you can imagine it to be a picture that you can easily keep in your mind. The third way is to review it once a day within the first month then once a week within the next two months. If you can recognize the word without reviewing it in a month, maybe the word has become a forever memory in your mind.

     As we all know, there are lots of English words we need to learn. To memorize them better, we should find some good ways. I think it is essential to review the words after class. Then we can recite the words and write them from memory. More importantly, we should read the words again and again correctly and know the phonetic symbol of each word in order to remember the words for a long time. That’s my good ways to memorize English words.
