A  trip  to the Safari Park和Dorothy是檀目前最喜欢听的故事。两个故事的中文书檀都没有看过，但是也听得津津有味，也许是因为里面的人讲得有声有色以及里面有吸引孩子的歌曲。

   在没有给檀看这两个故事的文本之前，一直反复地给檀听，所以当叫檀读这两个故事的文本的时候，檀可是读得非常流利，即使碰上她不懂的单词。       

          A  trip  to the Safari Park

It’s a  special day today.The children are very happy. There’s a trip to the safari park!They are excited. They love animals!

Mr Seboa:Ok,children?Are you ready?Let’s go?

Children:Yes,let’s go ,let’s go!

Mr Seboa:Here we are.WOW!this is the safari park.It’s great here!Hey ,children,look!There are a lot of animals in the safari park.look,there’s a giraffe….

Children:Yes,a giraffe!And look,Sir! There’s a lion…and a zebra…and a hippo…and a monkey …and lots more.Hurray!

Mr Seboa:Hey ,children,look!Over there in the bushes!

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:Over there,There’s a lion.

Children:Wow!It’s a big lion and it’s got

 long hair on its head.

Mr Seboa:The name for that long hair is “mane”.

Children:Lion,Lion,hello,lion!hello!

Lion:ROAR,RORRRRRRR.

Mr Seboa:Sit down,Billy!

Mr Seboa:Hey,children,look!Over there!

Children:where?

Mr Seboa:In the pond ,There’s a hippo.

The hippo’s very happy…it’s got mud all over it!

Children:YUCK!

Mr Seboa:It’s got small ears but big eyes.

Children:hello,hippo!Hello!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,Ashya!

Mr Seboa:Hey ,children,look!Over there!

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:In the long grass.

Children:What’s that,Sir?

Mr Seboa:It’s a trunk!Wow!It’s an elephant!It’s really big .It’s got a trunk,two white tusks and big ears.

Children:An elephant, an elephant!hell,elephant….hello!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,George!

Mr Seboa:Hey ,children,look!Over there!

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:Near the tree,It’s black and white.

Children:Black and white?

Mr Seboa:Yes ,of course.

It’s a  zebra!zebras have got black and white  stripes.

Children:Yes,a zebra ,a zebra! A black and white zebra!hello,zebra!hello!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,Chaka!

Mr Seboa:Hey,children,look ,Over there!

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:Over there! In the tree.

There’s a monkey!A funny monkey with a long tail.Monkeys love bananas.They swing from trees.

Children:hello,monkey!hello.

 Mr Seboa:Sit down,Mathilda!

Mr Seboa:hey ,children,look ,over there!

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:Over there !Near that big tree!It’s a giraffe.look!It’ very tall. It’s got long legs and….What a long neck!

Children:Yes ,It’s very very long!hello ,giraffe!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,Namvula!

Mr Seboa:hey ,children,look!Over  there !

Children:Where?

Mr Seboa:Near the pond.

Children:oh, yes ,near the pond !oh,it’s got beautiful blue feathers    !what is it?

Mr Seboa:It’s a beautiful bird,It’s a kingfisher.

Children:Wow!A kingfisher!hello,kingfisher!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,James!

It’s great at the safari park!the children love the animals .The lion with a long mane,the hippo with mud all over it ,the big elephant with a long trunk, the black and white zebra,

 the funny monkey with a long the beautiful kingfisher.

Mr Seboa:Come on ,children!it’s late now and it’s time to go home.

Children:Bye-Bye,animals!see you another time!

Mr Seboa:Bye-bye,everybody

Everybody:What a lovely day!bye-bye!Bye-bye!

Mr Seboa:Sit down,children!
