谈到巴塞罗那就不得不提“加泰罗尼亚现代主义”建筑家安东尼高迪.他在巴塞罗那城里留下了大量艺术作品，其中有7件被评为联合国世界遗产。

圣家堂教堂是他最伟大的作品

直到1926年逝世，这位新艺术运动的代表人物把一生中43年的时间都献给圣家堂，去世后他的遗体也被葬于教堂底部。始建于1882年的圣家堂如今还有十座高塔尚未建成，整个建筑完成了将近50%，预计要在2026年才能完工。

这也是唯一一座还未完工就被列入世界遗产的建筑
