I know you guys who read my essays are good at English, so I want to share some culture and customs which I learned in the United States with you. Also, this is the best way to keep improving my English while I show somethings to you.

          Yesterday, I saw many people who wear green clothes, green hats and put green kisses on their face. It looked strange to me, then I asked Ernesto whom I spoke of in the last article. He told me somethings about this holiday.

          A man who was called Saint Patrick brought the Christian religion to Ireland in over Tang dynasty, so in Ireland his feast day is a holiday on March 17. In the 1840’s and later many Irish came to the U.S. They celebrate their holiday here too. They have a St Patrick’s Day parade on the streets of cities with large Irish population. They all wear the green color on the special day. This is their traditional lucky color which is like the red in China.

          Regretfully, I forgot to bring my camera yesterday, so I couldn’t show the scene to you. I think I should take my camera all the time in the future.
