周依晨家庭的来信

Eva,
I wanted to write you a
note and update you on our little Ellie (Zhou Yi Chen). We are so
thankful that she is a part of our family, but even more so
thankful that you loved her and took care of her before we could
get to her.
She is learning English
SO quickly - but definitely has favorite Mandarin words she is
hanging on to (shoes, strawberries, big brother, car, dog). She
seems to sing a song/nursery rhyme that our guides translated as
"little butterfly"? Do you know where I might be able to find the
words or music to that?
She loves to play dress
up, blow bubbles, make super funny faces, jump on our trampoline,
and play in the water fountains where we live. :-) I've attached a
few pictures for you!
Also, we were able to
watch the movie that you were filming the day we visited! It was
WONDERFUL. I have to ask, though...was that a true story? We
noticed that Zhou Yi Chen was the child referenced in the beginning
of the movie, our paperwork was shown, her photos, and so on.
We would like to keep in touch with you as
time goes on - we are ever grateful for your work at Angel House
with love,
The Carr Family
Meg, Joshua, Caleb and Ellie
