The trip to Mono cliffs

From January 23rd to 26th, our school’s grade 5 and 6 classes went to Mono Cliffs Outdoor Education Center. It was so much fun there!

This is our daily plan: we woke up at 7:00 am and got dressed, and went to breakfast at 8:00 am. Breakfast was always the same, cereal, pancake and dessert. However, the dessert was different. After breakfast we had morning program. It was always outdoor activities. We played Instincts for Survival once. I liked it the best.

Lunch was unique because it had soup. Soup is my favorite part of the meal. I loved the mushroom soup and the ice cream sandwich. They were so delicious. Afternoon program was always indoors. We made toys like toggle tossers.We slided the ice hill at recreation time.We did not go skiing because the snow was not deep enough. Someone poured some water to the snow. The next day it became ice so we could slide on it. It was very fast!

Dinner was finally here. It was always like a feast. We had fried chicken wings every time!We had outdoor activities at night programs, like night hikes. We must take a shower every day, but I hated it .However I liked the after-shower snack. It was muffins with hot chocolate or cookies with hot chocolate. We need to go to bed at 9:30. That was a day!

I had read a book called <<Benny Goes to Camp>>. My camp was almost like Benny’s.
